Once in a small village, there lived a young boy named Kofi who had a best friend named Tunde. They were inseparable, always exploring the woods and dreaming of grand adventures. One day, they made a pact to always support each other and never break a promise. They even carved their names into a tree as a symbol of their friendship.

One summer, Tunde promised Kofi that they would build a treehouse together. Excited, Kofi gathered materials and spent hours planning their dream hideout. But as the days passed, Tunde became distracted by a new group of friends who didn’t share his passion for building. He often canceled their plans, leaving Kofi feeling abandoned and disappointed. Kofi tried to understand, but the broken promises weighed heavily on him.

Eventually, Kofi decided to build the treehouse alone. As he worked, he poured his feelings into the project, creating a beautiful space that reflected his dreams. When Tunde finally saw the treehouse, he was filled with regret. He realized how much he had hurt Kofi by breaking their promise. Tunde apologized, and they both learned that true friendship means being there for each other, even when it’s hard.
